Overview

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated Australian broker offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time Database Administrator (timezone UTC+6).

In Short

• Manage, maintain, design, implement, and optimize database solutions.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server and MySQL/PostgreSQL administration.
• Work from home with the possibility of relocation to Cyprus after probation.
• Install and configure database management systems (DBMS).
• Develop, test, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all database systems.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support database-related needs.
• Document database designs, configurations, and processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and developers.
• Prepare reports on database performance, usage, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator with expertise in MS SQL Server and MySQL.
• Hands-on with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
• Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Experience in replication setup and server upgradations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration/development.
• Experience in managing complex large database systems.
