Overview

Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) is looking for a talented, motivated, competitive and well-spoken inside sales representative that wants to learn and grow in the medical device industry. As a Senior Inside Sales Representative, you will play a fundamental role on our commercial team in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. In this role you will be strategically hunting, generating and nurturing business opportunities with the express task of increasing sales in targeted markets. You must be comfortable selling capital equipment, prospecting new business, and providing guidance and training to supporting Inside Sales roles. In Short

  • Introduce services to Operating Room Directors and administrators.
  • Accelerate revenue and market penetration for products in ambulatory surgery centers, endoscopy centers, and regional hospitals.
  • Target new customers to meet or exceed required selling activity metrics.
  • Use consultative selling techniques to identify solutions for customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain optimum account call frequencies.
  • Provide guidance and training to supporting Inside Sales roles.
  • Collaborate with appropriate functional groups.
  • Remotely in-service accounts through web-based technologies.
  • Present proposals, negotiate pricing, and differentiate product offerings.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and trainings to healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years of experience prospecting for new business and cold-calling.
  • 2-3 years medical sales experience, preferably capital equipment.
  • Experience selling to hospitals and ASC’s is a plus.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Enthusiasm for sales and improving patient outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge of the medical supplies/device business is a plus.
