Overview

Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) is looking for a talented, motivated, competitive and well-spoken inside sales representative that wants to learn and grow in the medical device industry. As a Senior Inside Sales Representative, you will play a fundamental role on our commercial team in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. In this role you will be strategically hunting, generating and nurturing business opportunities with the express task of increasing sales in targeted markets. You must be comfortable selling capital equipment, prospecting new business, and providing guidance and training to supporting Inside Sales roles. In Short

  • Introduce our services to Operating Room (OR) Directors and administrators, Sterile Processing Techs, and Materials Managers
  • Accelerate revenue and market penetration for all our products in ambulatory surgery centers (ASC), endoscopy centers, and regional hospitals
  • Target new customers to meet or exceed required selling activity metrics set by sales leadership
  • Use consultative selling techniques to identify solutions to meet customer needs through increased usage of existing ASP products and the introduction of new ASP products.
  • Establish and maintain optimum account call frequencies which lead to better relationships with the customer, better understanding of the customer’s business and needs, and the accomplishment of the sales quota
  • Provide guidance and training to supporting Inside Sales roles
  • Advocate for priorities for their assigned region(s)
  • Collaborating with all appropriate functional groups, to include but not limited to Field Sales, Corporate Accounts, Field Service, Contracting, Legal, etc.
  • Remotely in-service accounts through web-based technologies by demonstrating product applications and functionality
  • Conduct product demonstrations and trainings to healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of experience prospecting for new business and cold-calling
  • 2-3 years medical sales, preferably capital equipment, or equivalent experience a plus
  • Experience selling to hospitals, ASC’s, and Inpatient/Outpatient Endoscopy Suites a plus
  • Sterilization experience a plus
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Enthusiasm for sales and improving patient outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail
