Overview

The Controller is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Fortitude Mining, focusing on maintaining and enhancing financial statements and reporting.

In Short

• Join a small, highly professional entrepreneurial group.
• Report to the CFO and manage financial and accounting procedures.
• Maintain internal controls for asset safekeeping.
• Prepare monthly financials and assist in annual budget preparation.
• Support capital markets activity and investor reporting.
• Work closely with technical teams on economic models.
• Prepare standalone financial statements.
• 10+ years of experience in financial reporting required.
• CPA required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, accounting major preferred.
• Experience with ERP and crypto-native accounting systems.
• Knowledge of fair value and revenue recognition.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in cryptocurrency or blockchain technology.
• Big Four public accounting background preferred.
• Strong quantitative and reasoning skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Detail-oriented and resourceful.
• Proven ability to see the bigger picture.
