Psychiatry Support Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Psychiatry Support Coordinator is an active participant of the Psychiatry Operations team, managing provider, patient, and operations requests to improve access to high-quality mental health care.

In Short

• Full-time hourly position with a hybrid schedule (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST).
• On-site in Smyrna office Tuesday-Friday and remote on Mondays.
• Collaborate with department leads and team members.
• Attend meetings to stay updated with changes.
• Provide phone reception support and manage inquiries.
• Coordinate intake, appointment scheduling, and medication requests.
• Utilize conflict resolution techniques to support distressed patients.
• Complete daily tasks to achieve projected metrics.
• Work closely with team members and leaders.
• Adapt to changes as the department develops.

Requirements

• Experience in the mental health field, preferably as a pharmacy technician or medical assistant.
• One-plus year of customer experience.
• Proficiency in EHR systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Access to a private workspace complying with HIPAA guidelines.
• Self-starter attitude with a passion for improving mental health care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player attitude.
• Attention to detail and willingness to ask for help.
