Overview

The Director is responsible for building, leading, and governing the credit function for Forbright Bank’s Equipment Finance platform, focusing on credit strategy, underwriting standards, and risk governance.

• Build and lead the credit function for the Equipment Finance platform.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in commercial finance or equipment finance.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in equipment leasing and lending structures.
• Experience in regulated banking environments preferred.
• Deep expertise in credit underwriting and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
