Overview

The Inside Sales Technology Representative (ISR) position optimizes inbound/outbound telephone, virtual meetings/presentations, and e-mail contact to sell our ever-growing technology solutions. Each ISR is responsible for an individual monthly/quarterly/annual quota focusing on recurring and non-recurring revenue targets set by Follett Software.

In Short

  • Win new business and sell additional solutions into existing clients.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to managers.
  • Leverage company CRM (Salesforce.com) as a resource.
  • Prospect daily to generate opportunities and build a pipeline.
  • Provide product and service presentations via Phone & virtual meetings.
  • Uncover and qualify new opportunities.
  • Identify cross-selling, up-selling, and lead generation opportunities.
  • Develop an engaging territory plan and strategy.
  • Meet daily activity goals set by management.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales.
  • Minimum of 1 year as a high achieving sales representative.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com strongly preferred.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple sales at once.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and driven.
  • A history of sales achievement and exceeding quota.
  • Excited about a career in sales.
  • Holds self-accountable and eager for coaching.
  • Naturally upbeat and optimistic.
