Application Support Engineer II - Remote

Overview

As an Application Support Engineer II at Flywire, you will be responsible for providing application expertise, solving support requests, and assisting the Helpdesk and Engineering teams.

In Short

• Engage with internal employees to detail issues sent to the ticketing system.
• Detect and solve production issues and bugs.
• Engage with Engineering to raise bugs and problems.
• Maintain documentation for common issues.
• Become an expert in Flywire products.
• Identify improvement opportunities in support processes.
• Provide maintenance and support for applications.
• Train end users on application usage.
• Resolve Tier-2 application issues.
• Assist in database changes during upgrades.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in software maintenance and support.
• Understanding of web applications, particularly .Net, React, Java, and Angular.
• Knowledge in key technologies: Ruby, Java, React, SQL, Redis, RabbitMQ.
• Strong categorization skills for ticketing systems.
• Desire to improve support processes.
• Analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in FinTech is appreciated.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Hospitality or PMS experience is a plus.
