Senior Front End Engineer - Remote

Overview

A Senior Frontend Engineer at Fluency will build key product features continuously improving the experience for our customers.

In Short

• Project planning and execution based on the product development pipeline
• Collaboration across multiple business units to develop solutions
• Gather and refine specifications based on technical needs
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code
• Implement and help evolve website interface using HTML/CSS/JS
• Integrate data from various back-end services
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Actively seeks and removes impediments to team success
• Present issues and risks to management with proposed mitigation
• Continuously improves software development productivity and quality

Requirements

• 5 plus years experience in web application and enterprise software development
• Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3) and experience with a component based JavaScript framework
• AWS, Vue.js, Bootstrap and Java Spring Boot knowledge a plus
• Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in a related field, a plus but NOT required
• Knowledge of current development strategies and trends
• Eye for design/usability details
• Experience establishing and leading world class development
• Knowledge of data-driven development methodologies
• Loves feedback and understands iterative development cycles
• Experience with the advertising industry, a plus
