Senior Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for the integrity of the company’s account and financial analysis, leading the finance functions within a fast-paced organization.

• Oversee and administer accounting functions in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure confidentiality of organizational information.
• Support business leaders with financial analysis and data-driven insights.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to understand business drivers.
• Manage annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting.
• Handle year-end audits and statutory filings.
• Oversee accounts payable and payroll processes.
• Prepare journal entries and trial balance documentation.
• Develop and maintain departmental process documentation.
• Responsible for revenue recognition and operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of financial preparation experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 3-5 years in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• 2+ years of payroll accounting experience.
• Active CPA licensure preferred.
• Accounting degree required, MSA/MBA preferred.
• Experience with sales tax.
