Overview

The Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics Center (RMDC) is a mission-critical global team that operates as the first point of contact for diagnosing and resolving issues across Fluence’s worldwide Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) fleet.

In Short

• Act as the remote owner for large-scale BESS sites across the globe.
• Be the primary point of contact for operational and technical issues.
• Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot various systems and components.
• Coordinate with Field Service Engineers and technical specialists.
• Maintain accurate logs and service reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Support planned preventive maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous knowledge sharing and training.
• Work in a 24/7 rotational shift model.
• Support Fluence assets across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields or licensed electrician.
• 2-3 years of experience in remote O&M or technical support roles.
• Hands-on experience with Battery Management Systems and Power Conversion Systems.
• Experience with Ubuntu/Linux OS and Cisco networking devices.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-first approach.
• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.
• Physically capable to support field teams if needed.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, holidays, and weekends.
