Overview

The Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality Assurance will lead supplier qualification and audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement in supplier processes.

• Lead supplier qualification, audits, and risk assessments.
• Review and approve PPAP documentation for BESS components.
• Collaborate with Engineering on DFMEA/design reviews.
• Drive corrective actions for supplier NCRs.
• Ensure suppliers meet grid compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Verify reliability and environmental testing aligned with BESS operating conditions.
• Support suppliers in continuous improvement programs.
• Manage documentation and change control in Windchill.
• Willingness to travel domestically/Internationally up to 40%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Supplier Quality or Quality Engineering experience.
• Experience with BESS components and NPI supplier engagement.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Windchill.
• Knowledge of grid compliance standards.
• Strong background in reliability and environmental testing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
