Project Manager (Corporate Event Planner) - Remote

Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting clients with both internal and client-facing events and conferences, delivering exceptional service through effective project management and creative solutions.

In Short

• Manage full life-cycle planning and execution of multiple key events.
• Handle financial management including budget development and expense management.
• Source and negotiate with venues and suppliers.
• Coordinate logistics for events including registration, transportation, and audio/visual needs.
• Work with internal partners on event deliverables.
• Plan and manage virtual events.
• Ensure compliance with client standards and policies.
• Travel for site inspections and on-site management of live events.
• Conduct post-event wrap up including final budgets and client debriefs.
• Share knowledge of best practices and new suppliers.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of event management experience.
• Experience in managing senior clients and large events.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Virtual event experience preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Customer focus and strong client management skills.
• Willingness to travel for events.
• Experience with databases and event management software.
• Knowledge of venues in key US cities.
