• Lead an engineering organization for Data Infrastructure at Figma.
• Define and develop the roadmap and technical strategy for data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams to build infrastructure for collaboration experiences and business insights.

• 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership.
• 8+ years in software engineering roles.
• Experience in building scalable data infrastructure systems.
• Strong partnership mentality with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering leader.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering roles, ideally reaching staff level.
• Demonstrated experience in building scaling data infrastructure systems.
• Proven track record of motivating and mentoring senior engineers and managers.
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Experience building both online and offline distributed systems is a plus.
