Patient Appointment Services Clerk (PAS) - Remote

Overview

The Patient Appointment Services (PAS) Clerk will support the Puget Sound Military Appointing Center by managing appointments, verifying eligibility, and coordinating with Military Treatment Facilities to ensure timely access to healthcare for military beneficiaries and their families.

• Full-time remote position within the United States.
• Responsible for scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments.
• Verify patient eligibility and update demographic information.
• Assist with appointment coordination for various care referrals.
• Conduct outbound calls for appointment scheduling and reminders.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Strong emphasis on customer service and communication.
• Must reside within a 40-mile radius of Oklahoma City.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior healthcare administrative experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify problems and apply solutions.
• Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
