Overview

The Patient Appointment Services Specialist is responsible for independently creating and scheduling appointments within the electronic medical record for a complex, multispecialty medical practice.

• Independently create and schedule appointments.
• Gather patient-specific demographic and provider information.
• Advise patients on co-payments and referral authorizations.
• Collect Guarantor and insurance details.
• Respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.

• Be available for patient interactions 80% of the day.
• Flexibility for cross-coverage and travel may be required.
• On-site work may be required for the first 6 months to 1 year.
