Overview

We are looking for an Account Executive with a genuine interest in supporting Austin local businesses to join our team. As an Account Executive at Favor, you serve as the client’s voice, acting as the liaison between Favor and our Merchant partners.

In Short

  • Cultivate new and existing leads in your designated region by cold calling businesses in-person and on the phone.
  • Maintain and nurture an active pipeline of potential merchant partners and qualify inbound leads and prospects via phone and email.
  • Identify decision makers and ask questions to uncover and understand a merchant’s needs.
  • Demonstrate and highlight the value and return on investment Favor provides.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from finding new leads to securing a sale.
  • Report and record all sales activities in our web-based CRM system.
  • Plan a sales approach for your territory for both outside and inside sales.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support new merchant partners.
  • Achieve quarterly and yearly predetermined sales goals and quotas.
  • Provide high-quality customer service while maintaining Favor’s reputation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable formal training, certification and/or work experience.
  • Previous experience as an Account Executive or similar sales/customer service role.
  • Experience executing the full lifecycle sales process in-person and over the phone.
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
  • Time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and facilitating presentations.
  • Ability to build lasting relationships.
  • The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
