Overview

The Sales Development Representative position is a sales role directly responsible for facilitating qualification of non-member and FBN members to the FBN platform for various business lines including crop protection, seed, and livestock.

In Short

  • Place outbound calls to farmers to identify how FBN products can benefit their operations.
  • Execute prospecting activities to qualify farmers for FBN commercial products.
  • Independently prioritize day-to-day sales execution.
  • Fluently understand and communicate about crop protection, seed, and livestock programs.
  • Qualify leads and conduct market research.
  • Develop a sales playbook for overcoming objections.
  • Use Salesforce and other tools for managing sales processes.
  • Provide and seek feedback to improve performance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in communicating service offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of equivalent experience.
  • Passionate about agriculture and farming.
  • Proven ability to excel in a self-guided work environment.
  • Comfortable using technology products/services.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment.
