Staff Software Development Engineer (Full Stack, Java, Kubernetes, AWS) - Remote

Overview

As a Full Stack Expert Software Development Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and implement solutions for automotive software applications, working in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment.

In Short

• Lead development of features, POC's, technical projects and complex systems.
• Code and maintain advanced Java applications focusing on data quality and performance.
• Deploy applications into AWS environments driving cloud migration.
• Create CI/CD pipelines to improve build and deployment processes.
• Design and develop test automation frameworks for applications.
• Participate in Backlog Grooming with the Scrum Team.
• Work with project team members in all software development life cycle phases.
• Lead system architecture and technical design for application components.
• Perform design and code reviews to maintain code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Expert in developing microservices using Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of AWS components for various services.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, KAFKA, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like JavaScript, ReactJS, CSS, HTML.
• Experience with DBMSs such as PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle.
• Understanding of Agile development methodology.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
