In Short

• Lead engineering teams building platform capabilities and solutions for clients.
• Manage a high-performing team of engineers responsible for designing, building, and scaling APIs.
• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of real-time APIs.
• Collaborate with Architects and Principal Engineers on the API platform roadmap.
• Ensure the team follows software engineering best practices.
• Work with Product Management and other engineering teams to align technical plans.
• Manage the delivery lifecycle of major platform plans.
• Track performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Champion Service level agreements and incident response for platform services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing real-time, high-throughput API platforms.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with API gateways, load balancing, and observability tools.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues.
• Experience developing ML Ops capabilities.
• Data Science & ML experience.
• DevOps knowledge: Docker and Kubernetes.
