Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

As part of the team building People Technology tools, you will contribute directly to shaping the digital experiences that power our HR lifecycle — from performance to engagement and beyond. As a Backend Engineer, you'll architect and maintain scalable, secure, and backend services that underpin our custom applications.

In Short

• Develop backend services using TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with frontend and platform teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Create Docker containers and support Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, with Jenkins, to ensure streamlined deployment.
• Develop infrastructure using AWS services and ensure cost-effective, secure operations.
• Improve backend systems for performance and reliability, including legacy codebase debugging.
• Work with both relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB) to design efficient data models and queries.
• Participate in code reviews, version control workflows (Git), and enforce coding best practices.
• Contribute to observability through logging and monitoring tools.
• Support integration and configuration of headless CMS platforms.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience with emphasis on TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience with containerized environments and modern CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS deployment and infrastructure scaling.
• Background in data-driven systems using PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools.
