Overview

The Senior Service Design & Transition Manager will ensure a structured approach to Service Design and Transition for new or changed services, collaborating across multiple business areas to ensure operational readiness.

In Short

  • Ensure new and modified services are designed and transitioned into operational use.
  • Manage the service lifecycle from concept to retirement.
  • Act as the central contact for sales teams regarding client bids.
  • Coordinate with ITSM teams on commercial service design.
  • Develop documentation for new/changed services.
  • Assess service health and capture improvements.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure a world-class customer experience throughout the service lifecycle.
  • Advocate for best practices in Service Design and Transition.
  • Guide awareness of standard processes across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in service design and transition.
  • Experience with senior stakeholders across departments.
  • ITIL 4 experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Experience delivering improvements through Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with modern service delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical people.
  • Understanding of business and service strategy impact on practices.
