Platform Architect - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Platform Architect with a platform engineering mindset to help define and guide the evolution of our enterprise-wide platform capabilities. You will help build the foundational architecture, infrastructure, and reusable services that promote data-driven and AI-powered solutions across the organization. You will report directly to the VP of Architecture.

In Short

• Architect foundational platform components that span the entire product lifecycle, including ID&F, Decisioning, Data, Analytics, and AI/ML.
• Develop scalable solution architectures and reference implementations to support internal platform services and common use cases.
• Guide enterprise-wide platform adoption by shaping engineering practices across teams.
• Provide technical mentorship, guiding engineers on platform architecture, best practices, and scalable design principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with an emphasis on building scalable, enterprise-grade platforms
• In-depth knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and data-intensive application design
• Proficiency in Terraform and an understanding of modern software development practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Helm
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, along with building CI/CD pipelines for production environments
• Demonstrated architectural leadership in technology adoption and experience promoting platform reuse across diverse teams
