Overview

The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for evaluating processes, risks, and controls in the IT area, ensuring data security and compliance with policies and procedures.

In Short

• Evaluate IT processes, risks, and controls in the Data Office.
• Support the review of policies and procedures for the Data Office.
• Conduct gap analysis between global corporate policies and Data Office processes.
• Assist the 1L Assurance team in meeting annual review schedules.
• Propose improvements based on policy and process reviews.
• Execute reviews and tests of complex IT controls.
• Assess the effectiveness of IT controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and Internal Controls teams.
• Interact with management and operational levels within the company.
• Support analysts and interns in the team.

Requirements

• Higher education in technology, information security, or related fields.
• Experience in IT risk and/or audit.
• Previous experience in data governance is a plus.
• CISA, COBIT, and ITIL certifications are advantageous.
• Advanced/Fluent English for calls and presentations.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective internal communication.
