Data Governance & Integration Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Data Governance and Integration Specialist to join our Business Intelligence team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a bridge between technical and business teams, managing data contracts with other departments and ensuring our BI products for B2B clients remain consistent and reliable amidst changes. Your primary focus will be to oversee the quality and integrity of data flowing into our BigQuery Data Warehouse from various internal and external sources, proactively handling schema changes, and fostering strong inter-team collaboration.

• Manage Data Contracts by defining and enforcing agreements on schema stability and data quality.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of data integration processes in cloud environments, preferably BigQuery.
• Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with tools that monitor data pipelines and external integrations.
• Analytical mindset to evaluate system changes and their impact on operations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to develop and enforce data governance processes.
• Experience in project management or coordination roles is a plus.
