Commercial Counsel - Remote

Overview

Experian is looking for a commercial transaction attorney with several years of experience working with complex agreements for clients to join our high-growth Employer Services division. You'll negotiate contracts directly with Experian's business clients, requiring in-depth work with and understanding of agreements for a variety of products and services, with an emphasis on employer services.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school; admission to the bar of any state.
• 3+ years of legal experience as member of in-house legal department or contracts department.
• High level of comfort supporting a sales-focused organization.
• Excellent contract drafting skills and leading contract negotiations.
• Direct experience negotiating critical contract terms.
• Experience aligning contract terms to meet revenue recognition requirements.
• Excellent Microsoft Word skills; experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with state and federal privacy laws.
• CIPP certification preferred.
