AWS Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position is for an experienced AWS Engineer to join our team for a critical initiative aimed at enhancing and securing our Customer Identity and Access Management application.

In Short

• Design and implement multi-region disaster recovery architectures within AWS.
• Deploy critical resources such as EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, and S3 in a secondary region.
• Utilize Aurora RDS Databases and cross-region replication for database resilience.
• Configure Amazon Route 53 with health checks and DNS failover.
• Use AWS services for data and workload replication.
• Conduct regular recovery tests and simulations to validate DR plans.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on continuity requirements.
• Maintain detailed disaster recovery documentation.
• Communicate processes and updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor DR infrastructure performance for optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, AWS Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with ForgeRock Identity Platform.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with multi-region deployments and DR planning.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt.
