Remote Paralegal (Night Shift Intake & Drafting)

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our remote team. The successful candidate will assist with legal drafting and support intake operations during the night shift.

In Short

• Remote position based in South Africa
• Working hours from 2:30 AM to 10:30 AM SAST
• Draft basic legal documents and client correspondence
• Perform intake duties by answering inbound calls
• Gather and input client information into case management systems
• Maintain and organize digital client records
• Coordinate with attorneys and legal teams
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal standards
• Requires 1-2 years of experience in a legal role
• Must be tech-savvy and fluent in English

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a legal assistant, legal admin, or paralegal role
• Strong drafting and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable handling intake calls and data entry
• Experience with case management software is a plus
• Must have own laptop and stable internet connection
• Availability to work night shifts
• Preferred experience supporting U.S.-based legal teams
• Knowledge of legal terminology and documentation standards
• Prior remote work experience
