Medical Biller - Remote

Overview

The Medical Biller will manage billing operations for primary care, behavioral health, and dental services, ensuring accurate claim submissions and compliance with industry standards.

• Remote position full-time from 4pm to 12am.
• Responsible for processing and submitting medical claims.
• Review encounter forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure claims are coded correctly using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS.
• Work on insurance denials and unpaid claims.
• Manage patient balances and accounts receivable.
• Collaborate with providers to resolve billing issues.
• Assist with audits and compliance documentation.
• Stay updated on payer policies and billing standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
• Familiarity with FQHC billing is preferred.
• Dental billing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare requirements.
• Proficiency in EHR and billing software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently.
