Medical Biller - Remote

Overview

Workit Health is seeking a full-time Medical Biller to work rejections and denials as they come in and escalate any denial or rejection trends as they are identified. The candidate ideally has experience billing for addiction medicine and/or outpatient medication-assisted treatment or experience in billing for telemedicine services.

• Generate appeals or reprocess claims as necessary.
• Work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• 2-3 years of previous Medical Billing experience required.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Requirements

• 2-3 years previous Medical Billing experience.
• Experience with MS Word and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Preferred: Coding/Billing certification from AAPC or similar.
