Overview

The Medical Biller will be responsible for performing all aspects of billing functions, including identifying and resolving complex claims issues to enhance the revenue cycle management process.

In Short

  • Hybrid schedule with 2 days in office and 3 days remote after initial training.
  • Timely submission of clean electronic claims.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims and manage denials.
  • Data entry and verification of patient demographics.
  • Posting of insurance and patient payments.
  • Communication with insurance companies.
  • Appeals and secondary claims management.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills required.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft applications.
  • Commitment to professional development and employee well-being.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing or collections.
  • Experience with ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT Codes.
  • Working knowledge of medical insurance and terminology.
  • Ability to process multiple payers AR across states.
  • Strong computer skills and billing experience in EMR.
  • Good team building and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze financials and present to providers.
