Insurance Verification Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Insurance Verification Specialist will verify client eligibility on various Medicaid, Medicare & Commercial Provider Portals and maintain enrollment and demographic processing in Community Medical Services Inc. EHR and EMR.

In Short

• Schedule: 6AM - 2PM - hybrid (2 days in office and 3 days remote)
• Complete verification of client eligibility on various portals
• Maintain enrollment and demographic processing
• Create, update and submit all demographics to applicable payers
• Research rejected claims and resolve discrepancies
• Provide follow-up to resolve errors
• Identify opportunities to improve processes
• Perform audits on completed member data
• Communicate with Operations and Clinical staff
• Work in a supportive environment dedicated to helping individuals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of transaction processing or related experience
• Experience in a managed care environment preferred
• Comfortable reviewing a large volume of client records
• Familiarity with business rules in multiple states
