Medical Biller 1 - Remote

Overview

The Medical Biller 1 will be responsible for the submission of electronic claims, follow up on unpaid claims, data entry, and client demographics verification while managing denials and claims resubmission.

In Short

• Schedule: 5:30AM - 1:30PM - hybrid (2 days in office and 3 days remote)
• Responsible for electronic claims submission and follow-up
• Data entry and client demographics verification

• Basic knowledge of CPT/ICD10 coding required

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of CPT/ICD10 coding, insurance cards, and medical benefits
• Experience with manual billing for grant payers
• Ability to bulk process accounts receivable
• Timely posting of denials and write-offs
• Experience in preparing and transmitting claims
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to run and utilize aging AR reports
