Part-Time Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner - Remote

Overview

Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring immediately a part-time Nurse Practitioner to assist patients with their psychiatry needs while recovering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances. Your work will help foster a safe place for anyone beginning their recovery journey with us.

In Short

• Part-time position requiring 10 hours per week, with potential to increase to 20 hours.
• Work schedule includes Fridays 6AM-1PM and some Mondays 6AM-1PM.
• Fully remote position.
• Assist patients with psychiatry treatment plans.
• Work in an outpatient setting similar to a doctor's office.
• Collaborate with the Psychiatric Medical Director.
• Educate patients on medication and health habits.
• Document clinical information in Electronic Health Record.
• Experience with multi-cultural and low socio-economic individuals preferred.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in state of employment.
• Unrestricted DEA license required.
• CPR Certification Required.
• First Aid Certification Required.
• Clinical experience in substance abuse rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.
• Ability to complete fingerprint clearance and tuberculosis test.
