Overview

The Insurance Verification Specialist acts as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies to ensure appropriate data collection, compliance with third-party payers and federal and state regulations.

• Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies.

Requirements

• One year of healthcare experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical equipment.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding desirable.
• Ability to obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days.
• Must have working knowledge of the English language.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or health sciences.
