Insurance Verification Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Insurance Verification Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and confirming patients’ insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing and seamless patient care.

In Short

• Verify patients’ insurance eligibility and benefit coverage
• Complete insurance verification documentation for all PPO & Medicare clients
• Document and interpret coverage details
• Enter insurance information into the PromptEMR system
• Communicate verification results with the internal team
• Update patient records consistently
• Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve issues
• Assist patients in understanding their benefits
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulations
• Maintain documentation for auditing and reporting

Requirements

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Prior experience in insurance verification
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
• Familiarity with insurance policies and payer requirements
