Medical Biller - Remote

Overview

As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for correcting, completing, and processing claims of all payer codes, generating reports, and assisting clinic staff and patients with billing inquiries.

• Enter Charges for Assigned Clinics
• Work A/R lists that are assigned
• Answer clinic phone calls and assist clinic staff with billing questions
• Answer patient phone calls
• Take patient payments over the phone
• Respond to emails in a timely manner
• Calling patients to collect patient balances
• Filing and maintaining records
• Posting manual checks
• Generating patient statements
• Appealing payer denied claims

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 or more years of Billing experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to plan, organize, and complete work assignments independently
• Multitasking and managing multiple objectives
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality
