In Short

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding health plan inquiries.
  • Respond to email inquiries from customers.
  • Develop processes, call scripts, and procedures.
  • Provide information on benefits, eligibility, and claims.
  • Manage escalations and ensure effective problem solving.
  • Document all calls accurately.
  • Assist members with navigating the member portal.
  • Meet department production and quality standards.
  • Work effectively in a virtual environment.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in commercial health plans.
  • Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Prior experience using a CRM, preferably SalesForce.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a bonus.
