In Short

• Develop and publish job descriptions for volunteer roles.
• Support resume screening, candidate shortlisting, and interview coordination.
• Co-design interview processes (AI-assisted where possible) and support hiring decisions.
• Optimize HR workflows using Odoo Community and MS365 tools.
• Leverage AI-based tools to automate repetitive HR tasks.
• Contribute to structured onboarding for new volunteers/staff.
• Act as a sparring partner to the leadership team on HR strategy.
• Provide guidance on volunteer engagement and retention.
• Foster a value-driven, inclusive, and impact-focused work culture.
• Work in a multicultural, fully remote, volunteer-driven environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in HR or Talent Acquisition roles.
• Previous experience in an NGO or social enterprise is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with HRIS/ERP systems, Odoo experience is a plus.
• Interest in AI tools for improving HR efficiency.
• Proactive, structured, and hands-on mindset.
• Passionate about social entrepreneurship and impact in East Africa.
