Overview

The PCR Application Specialist will work exclusively with the GSD line of BACGene GO PCR based test kits for food pathogens, playing a crucial role in the food safety team.

In Short

• Serve as a BACGene RT-PCR and pathogen expert to clients and internal teams.
• Conduct webinars and workshops to provide technical expertise and training.
• Create training materials for webinars and workshops.
• Interface between clients and GSD development teams.
• Participate in product development processes.
• Manage BACGene kit documentation and technical support content.
• Attend conferences and exhibitions to demonstrate solutions.
• Work with sales and technical teams to solve client problems.

Requirements

• Experience with PCR kits and equipment for food applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, genetics, or biochemistry.
• Strong presentation skills with sales ability.
• Ability to convey technical information.
• Customer-centric approach.
• Willingness to travel for demonstrations and trade shows.
• Good time management and prioritization skills.
• Teamwork capability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must pass a drug test and background check.
