Application Specialist - Remote

Overview

REEDS Jewelers is excited to post this important position to join our IT department, and this role is available as a fully remote position.

In Short

• The Application Specialist drives daily support for production, maintenance, and enhancements of corporate and ERP applications.
• Participates in planning and scoping projects to recommend best practices and implement new features.
• Partners with vendors, IT, and business associates to define functional and technical requirements.
• Defines and executes functional and integration test activities.
• Supports application end users by troubleshooting issues and answering questions.
• Manages user access to ERP systems and supports order fulfillment processing.
• Coordinates with PMO on implementation of new releases and upgrades.
• Generates ad hoc reporting and provides data for analysis.
• Assists with user acceptance testing and validates system interface integration.
• Leads Backoffice and Store software projects utilizing multiple software applications.

Requirements

• Strong technical leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and XML code.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong judgment and discretion in handling sensitive data.
• Experience in generating business cases for application efficiencies.
• Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SOC compliance and system documentation.
• Experience in project management and user acceptance testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to provide after-hour or weekend support if needed.
