Application Specialist - Remote

Overview

As an Application Specialist at Hometap, you will play a vital role in making homeownership less stressful and more accessible by reviewing homeowner applications and coordinating the closing and funding of investments.

In Short

• Own a pipeline of homeowner applications for processing.
• Obtain necessary supplemental information from homeowners.
• Place orders with third-party vendors for underwriting assessment.
• Verify documentation for thoroughness per guidelines.
• Conduct initial reviews of application packages.
• Communicate with the Sales team as the homeowner's point of contact.
• Coordinate with the Signing and Funding team for closing investments.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in loan processing, finance ops, or related fields.
• Proven track record of accuracy, completeness, and efficiency.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to develop cross-functional relationships.
• Strong computer and CRM skills, preferably Salesforce.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
