Overview

The Chief Scientific Officer will develop and implement Eurofins' operational and commercial strategy for the US Fresh-cut & Processed Produce industries, focusing on market expansion and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in sciences; M.S. in microbiology/food science preferred.
• Experience in new product and business development.
• Strong understanding of food industry issues.
• Technical expertise in produce testing and technologies.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience with FSMA, GFSI, USDA & FDA regulations.
• Authorization to work in the US indefinitely.
• Experience in food processing and produce markets.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
