Senior Corporate Accountant - Remote

Overview

The US Shared Services Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the timely completion of month end close for all business units while performing various accounting matters at the consolidated US level.

In Short

• Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review Corporate complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and provide explanations for variances.
• Oversee completion of business unit level financial statements.
• Assist in creating and maintaining control activities for SOX compliance.
• Act as a liaison with external auditors.
• Participate in developing new accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Mentor junior accounting staff.
• Research technical accounting guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
