Family Nurse Practitioner - Eating Disorders - Remote

Overview

The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for children and adults with eating disorders via Equip’s 100% virtual Telehealth platform.

In Short

• Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
• Implement medication treatment plans in a virtual clinic setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Utilize between-session messaging to support patients.
• Engage in treatment team meetings and supervision.
• Maintain a caseload of approximately 300 patients.
• Work full-time, Monday through Friday.
• Core scheduling availability from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST.
• Required to work until 6:00 PM on 2 days per week.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

• Board Certification as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner.
• 3+ years of experience treating patients in an outpatient setting.
• Ability to maintain active licenses.
• Effective communication skills with patients and their carers.
• Commitment to providing evidence-based care.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Licensed in California.
