Family Nurse Practitioner - Remote

Overview

The Pediatric Division of the Optimal Living Institute (OLI) is looking for a Nurse Practitioner preferably with some pediatric experience to join our team. The Nurse Practitioner will provide medical services to patients under the guidance of our Doctorate prepared Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Alicia Spiess. This role provides services as needed to provide coverage for our F/T NP at least One (1) weekend a month plus 3 weeks a year of vacation time.

In Short

• This is primarily a remote position with occasional office visits as needed.
• On call - 24 hours a day over the weekend and provide patient-care services over the phone or in office as needed.
• Display professional judgment regarding patient and staff communications.
• Be able to work with electronic medical records, answering phones, and using our secure messaging system.
• Assist with patient education regarding standard protocols.

Requirements

• Certified FNP or Pediatric NP.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Previous clinical experience of 1 - 2 years preferred.
• Must provide your own malpractice insurance.
