Overview

The Account Manager will be the primary client contact and will be expected to actively cultivate, improve and cement positive client relationships and use appropriate company resources in performing these functions.

In Short

  • Manage day-to-day client service and relationships.
  • Handle the renewal process for existing clients.
  • Assist with the intake and establishment of new clients.
  • Answer client questions and resolve issues.
  • Process cancellation notices and ensure timely resolution.
  • Document customer service transactions accurately.
  • Manage changes in exposure and related documentation.
  • Prepare insurance proposals and present to clients.
  • Utilize agency management systems effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in commercial insurance brokerage.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and ability to learn software systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Experience in the construction or engineering industries is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Broker’s P&C license required.
  • Insurance designation preferred.
