Senior Systems and Network Administrator - Remote

Overview

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems and Network Administrator to join their Infrastructure Management Team, responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the Rave Mobile Safety environment.

In Short

• Monitor IT ticket queues and provide user support.
• Plan and execute server operating system patching and software upgrades.
• Run environment scans and fix software vulnerabilities.
• Support server and security audits and recovery processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production platforms.
• 4+ years of experience in a systems administrator role.
• Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must reside in the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Rocky Linux and RHEL.
• Familiarity with Fortigate or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Familiarity with SaltStack, MySQL, Apache, and Tomcat.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Highly self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
