People & Compliance Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a People & Compliance Specialist at Entersekt, you will drive people-centric practices across all regions while ensuring compliance. You will focus on enabling and supporting our business through extraordinary growth by handling compliance, employee relations, and industrial relations activities.

In Short

• Provide advice and guidance to leaders on employee relations.
• Drive performance improvement plans and grievance procedures.
• Represent the company in conduct or incapacity hearings.
• Support restructuring initiatives such as S189A processes.
• Ensure policies align with legislation in partnership with external consultants.
• Support the implementation of B-BBEE strategy.
• Act as a contributor in people-centric initiatives.
• Guide management on performance management best practices.
• Coach managers on handling performance reviews and feedback.
• Collaborate with the People Office team and external consultants.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience within an HR function.
• Experience with labor relations and performance improvement processes.
• Knowledge of South African labour law and B-BBEE legislation.
• Proven track record in managing complex employee relations issues.
• Experience in Technology, Fintech, or SaaS environments preferred.
• Technology savvy with tools such as Excel, Slack, and BambooHR.
• High conflict resolution skills.
