Overview

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional, customer-focused service in a mission-critical managed services environment, focusing on developing and supporting a team of analysts to exceed customer expectations.

• Oversee operational issues within the Mainframe Operations team.
• Ensure changes are logged and implemented to protect customer environments.
• Manage complex technical issues escalated by analysts.
• Keep clients informed on ongoing issues.
• Provide support for client incidents and service requests.
• Ensure team meets all SLAs and performance targets.
• Direct daily activities of support analysts.
• Coach team members for professional development.
• Lead staff development initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to client support processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing a team in a mainframe environment.
• 5+ years in IT and system monitoring.
• College degree preferred.
• Technical knowledge across multiple Mainframe teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Customer service skills at management level.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to document processes clearly.
